Quality Training
When conducting Quality Training we always ask if our students have undergone any previous training related to quality. Our experience is that, in the majority of cases, well over 80% of staff have never received any training at all. Of those that have, it is invariably a basic internal auditors course.
Ask yourself, 'How can I expect to implement an effective quality programme or continuous improvement culture, when my staff do not understand what I am talking about?'
Gibbons Roscoe are pleased to offer courses ranging from Basic Quality Concepts through to ISO 9001 200 auditor training.
Strategic Analysis
Contrary to common perceptions, strategy is not planning. Strategy is a "unifying theme that gives coherence and direction to the actions and decisions of an individual or organisation" Robert M Grant (1991) Contemporary Strategy. Using strategic analysis we can utilise our skill base to build and sustain our core competencies.
Gibbons Roscoe are able to assist or facilitate you in forming your company strategy.

Process Engineering
Process engineering requires gaining an understanding of what job functions are being conducted and where. This includes identifying where similar functions exist, where cross-functional operations are occurring and where the major interfaces for processes are. Gibbons Roscoe will use among other tools, Basic/Activity/Deployment Flow Charts, Value Added Chains and Time Measurement Studies, to map, analyse and define improvements. Reports are then prepared that show time spent on strategic/tactical and operational workload. Value Added and Non-Value Added breakdown can also be presented. Gibbons Roscoe are then happy to assist in the implementation of any changes required to the organisation as a result of the study.
The advantages of process engineering are improved efficiency and effectiveness resulting in reduced costs and increased profits. Efficient processes result in less time fire-fighting and more time innovating.
